Wedding Invitation Video – Paul and Haley

I got to be around with a video camera for a lot of great moments with Paul and Haley. Enjoy!

Paul and Haley Winter Shoot

I had the great pleasure of getting to do a shoot with Paul and Haley the other day. I can’t wait for them to get married and have little reindeer babies!

Music Videos

Hello friends,

I’ve thought about it a lot and I have decided that I would like to start offering music videos as a more defined product. I’ve done some calculations and strategizing and I believe I can offer basic music videos at a superior quality than anything else on my site for about $2300. See Pricing.

This is the cool part. I really need to have a portfolio video to start offering this as a service.  I’ve decided to provide pretty much everything in the $2300 package for just $850 for the portfolio video. I don’t get to keep this money. Almost all of it will go to renting equipment to make the video look amazing.

The band for the video will be chosen on an application basis. Just fill out this wickedly easy KrausMedia Music Video Application and email it back to me at krausmedia@gmail.com with mp3s, photos, etc. or snail mail it with  to 1005 N Locust St. Denton, TX 76201.

Wedding Invitation Videos

Hello everyone,

Rach and I are happily married now, and I wanted to share with you a special part of the wedding planning process that helped to bring us to where we are now.

The moment we began thinking of how we were going to accomplish a wedding on a tight budget it became obvious that we’d have to use a lot of our personal resources, friends, and creativity.  When we got to the subject of wedding invitations, we decided on going with an email invitation. The thought in and of itself seemed really bland until we started discussing the potential of incorporating a VIDEO into the invitation.

This is when the creative juices started flowing.

Rather than talk about it, I’d rather just show you. So here is what we came up with; a video that utilized our resources, friends, and creativity. I feel rather inclined to stress that IT WAS SO MUCH STINKING FUN TO MAKE.

What a blast. The best part about it was the people for sure. Really wish I could have been filming when a friend whom shall remain nameless (a.k.a. Monica) bailed and fell into the ditch.

Because of how much fun this was and all the wonderful responses and feedback from our family and friends, I would really like to begin offering wedding invite videos as a service of krausmedia.  Shoot an email to krausmedia@gmail.com if you are interested in partnering with me to make a video for your wedding invitation!

Thanks for reading ladies and gents,

Finally posted my film reel

This video contains some of my best work. All clips are shot on 16mm film.  Oh man, I’m getting a bit sentimental.  I miss shooting film…

Digital Cinema World Is In A Ruckus

Today, cinematographers and editors have ants in their pants.

Canon is making an announcement having to do with Hollywood production. Very likely it is a new camera. They’ve got to do something with those new PL mount lenses. This is taking place at 3pm

Red is announcing specs, release dates, prices etc. on Scarlet at 6pm.

Oh dear. I’m going to want to sell my car….and/or my American passport/ID/social security info to the international black market.

I believe there is an announcement by Avid as well concerning their new Media Composer.

If you haven’t noticed, I’m not exactly a blogger. I’m blogging right now because I don’t know what else to do about these ants in my pants.

Links to come soon.
